Take on Me by a-ha Lyrics (1984)

We’re talking away
I don’t know what I’m to say
I’ll say it anyway
Today is another day to find you
Shyin’ away
Oh, I’ll be comin’ for your love, okay
Take on me
(Take on me)
Take me on
(Take on me)
I’ll be gone
In a day or two

So needless to say
I’m odds and ends
But I’ll be stumblin’ away
Slowly learnin’ that life is okay
Say after me
It’s no better to be safe than sorry
Take on me
(Take on me)
Take me on
(Take on me)
I’ll be gone
In a day or two

All the things that you say, yeah
Is it life or just to play my worries away?
You’re all the things I’ve got to remember
You’re shyin’ away
I’ll be comin’ for you anyway
Take on me
(Take on me)
Take me on
(Take on me)
I’ll be gone
In a day
(Take on me)
(Take on me)
(Take me on)
(Take on me)
I’ll be gone
(Take on me)
In a day

Lyrics:
Are we really happy here
With this lonely game we play?
Looking for words to say
Searching but not finding understanding anywhere
We’re lost in a masquerade
Both afraid to say we’re just too far away
From being close together from the start
We tried to talk it over but the words got in the way
We’re lost inside this lonely game we play
Thoughts of leaving disappear
Every time I see your eyes
No matter how hard I try
To understand the reasons that we carry on this way
We’re lost in a masquerade

Replacement lost key for Thule Yepp Maxi bike seat for kids, get the 08 key

Lost Your Thule Bike Seat Key? Here’s How to Get a Replacement (Without Damaging Your Gear)

Hi there, everyone on YouTube! This is Geoff from geoffmobile.com
Today, I’m here to do a quick video about what to do if you’ve lost your key for your Thule or THULE products.

Please subscribe :) youtube.com/geoffmobile

We have a Thule Yepp Maxi bike seat for our kid to go on the back of our e-bike. Our kid is now too heavy for it, so we wanted to sell the bike seat. However, we realized we’d lost the keys that let you unlock the bike seat from the bike. Without them, we couldn’t remove it! I took it to a locksmith, and they said, “I’m sorry, we can’t help you unlock the bike without damaging it.” They offered to drill it out, but I said, “No, thank you.”

Next, I contacted the local Thule store here in Vancouver (located in West Vancouver’s Park Royal mall). I called them first and said, “Hey, I’ve got this Thule Yepp Maxi bike seat. How can you help me get a new key for it?” They asked a few questions: “What kind of bike seat? What color is it?” I replied, “It’s the blue one.” They followed up, “Does it have a lot of holes on the seat?” I confirmed, “Yeah, it’s got a lot of holes,” which definitely identified it as the Thule Yepp Maxi. I also sent them a photo of the lock, which uses a small tubular/round circular key.

They said, “No problem! We have that key in stock—it’s called the 08 key—and it only costs about $5.” They gave me two replacement keys and a free Thule key ring. I tried the key on the bike seat, and it works perfectly to unlock it!

This is really good news because I’d seen on Reddit that others had positive experiences finding this “08 key.” However, when I looked online, the key was out of stock on both the U.S. and Canadian Thule websites. Luckily, the physical store had them in stock, even though they aren’t listed online.

Important note: My lock didn’t have the number “08” imprinted on it, but it still uses the 08 key, which is standard for all Thule Yepp Maxi bike carriers for kids.

If you have questions, leave them in the comments below! The good news is that Thule supports their products well and provides spare keys for purchase if you lose yours. This also applies to their roof racks and other equipment, though those models use slightly different keys. The 08 key, as far as I know, is specific to the Thule Yepp Maxi bike seat.

Thanks for watching! Have a great day, don’t forget to subscribe, and I’ll see you next time. Bye for now!

Cheers,
Geoff

So far, the piano is doubling the vocals to aid the vocalist in learning the melody. The bass line in the left hand is a simple bossa nova rhythm.

Vocals – Geoff Peters
Piano – John Peters

Recorded at the end of a 1.5 hour practice session (the first time I have ever sung this song). Recorded in the afternoon on February 28th 2025 on a vacation day from work :)

Reflecting on my journey to find my voice – Toastmasters Table Topics

Fellow Toastmasters and most welcome guests,

Geoff from geoffmobile.com here.

The topic I’m going to speak about today is: How do I think about my voice today compared to how it was in the past, and how has Toastmasters helped me with that? I think this is something I’ve noticed a lot of change in—my own voice and growth—since I started Toastmasters.

Please subscribe :) youtube.com/geoffmobile

At my first-ever Toastmasters meeting, I realized I didn’t have a very clear communication style. I thought I was making myself clear, but I have recordings of myself speaking from back then, and I spoke much too fast. My words were not formed in a way that was clear. I kind of mumbled, and people always asked me to repeat myself whenever I spoke to them.

By coming to Toastmasters, I learned a lot from other Toastmasters on how they speak. I found that when I heard other experienced members speaking, I started imitating the way they spoke and adopting some of their positive qualities into my own speaking. Some of those people I would see on a weekly basis—every week at Toastmasters—and I started to get to know them at a level I never really did before. By hearing people talk about their thoughts, dreams, and feelings, you really get to know someone. That was an amazing feeling: getting to know people, as well as all of us supporting each other to improve our communication styles and abilities.

Nowadays, I rarely have anyone asking me to repeat myself. I think that’s one way I’ve noticed my voice is way more clear. Usually, I’m able to speak up a bit more in meetings, and when someone asks me if I have anything to contribute, I usually have something to say.

So, thanks, Kumar, for the question!

Thanks,
Geoff
