Geoff from geoffmobile.com does a 30 minute improv / practice on his Roland Gaia SH-01 synthesizer.

This is Geoff’s second day with this synth. I love it!! The polyphony is superb. Can definitely use this for jazz.

Sound from synth recorded in stereo into a Motu – 8Pre in 44.1khz 24bit..
Camera: Sony Cybershot DSC-HX9V
Edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a Windows 7 Dell PC (Intel i7 and USB 3.0 for a faster workflow).

6:20 – if plays by itself!? – Can you adjust the tempo?
8:41 – cool rif (song idea!)
12:40 + 15:15 – song idea! (verse and chorus)
28:00 – song idea! Sure we can do a Laundryman version of ‘Girl from Ipanema’ :)
