Science of Motivation – Competing against your past self is the best way to motivate yourself today

Geoff from geoffmobile.com shares a short Table Topics Impromptu Speech at Vancouver Toastmasters Club 59 on the topic of “Is competition a good thing?”

Geoff shares a discussion about how trying to be better than your past self, in effect competing against your past self, is the best way he has found to motivate himself and have a meaningful life.

The book I am referring to in this speech is “Your Brain at Work”, Revised and Updated Edition, by author Dr. David Rock.
