“Futuristic Baroque” – influences of Celtic music and Vivaldi played on synthesizer.

Geoff from geoffmobile.com does a 36 minute original improvised jam on his Roland Gaia SH-01 synthesizer, using the Phrase Recorder / looping feature of the synth.

Having just listened to the Vivaldi Four Seasons played live, Geoff was inspired to do a Medieval-style baroque jam on his synthesizer. He also mixed in some Celtic/Irish style flavors into the melodies and riffs. In the last part of the jam, he ventures into ambient territory, playing with lush pads and soundscapes that evolve while keeping some of the original baroque theme throughout.
