Book review: My Friend Michael Jackson by Frank Cascio – Reviewed by geoffmobile

Geoff from geoffmobile.com reviews the book “My Friend Michael: Growing Up With The King Of Pop” by Frank Cascio.

This is an excellent book with an insightful and touching look into the personal life of one of the most fascinating, wonderful, and yet troubled and controversial celebrities, Michael Jackson.

From the Amazon.com synopsys:
“Frank Cascio was a close friend of tragic superstar Michael Jackson for more than twenty-five years. In My Friend Michael, Cascio offers a deeply personal, behind-the-scenes look at the Michael Jackson he knew. Filled with never-before-told stories and intimate details, My Friend Michael is the most candid, moving, and provocative portrait of the “King of Pop” to date—a fair and loving portrait of a true American pop music icon and of a remarkable friendship that endured through triumph and struggle, scandal and controversy.”

Erasing a Phrase
Q: Can anyone tell me how to erase a loop from the phrase recorder? I’ve tried every possible key combination and nothing seems to work. I’d appreciate if someone could tell me how! Thank you!

A: Yes there is a way. You need to change the number of bars of the phrase to a different number and then change it back right away, and then the phrase will be cleared. So if I currently have a four bar phrase, change it to a three bar phrase, and then change it right back to a four bar phrase, it will now be erased. I wish this was more clear in the manual :) Hope this makes sense!!
