The thought comes from one of my favorite thinkers of our time, Clay Shirky, who writes “Institutions will try to preserve the problems to which they are the solution.”

I don’t know if this is totally related to your video but I think that certain groups or institutions may not solve their problems because they profit from problems and chaos. Just a thought. They draw energy from disharmony.
