Dear friends, colleagues, and fellow professionals: As a software developer, I have found Toastmasters to be an invaluable experience and a supportive community to improve my public speaking skills. Although our Toastmasters club has resumed in-person meetings, I still see the value of practicing speaking on video as well.
I have been using a large language model to create a virtual Toastmasters meeting topic and impromptu questions to practice public speaking online.
Today’s AI Toastmasters Table Topics theme is ”The Power of Words”. This theme is relevant and interesting for many people, especially for Toastmasters who want to improve their communication skills.
I used AI to generate some table topics questions to talk about based on this theme, and I chose to discuss this question: “What is your favorite word and why?”
I picked the word “practice” and explained why it’s my favorite word! A video of my response is linked below. :)
Hope you have a great Friday afternoon to wrap up the week’s work, and a good weekend ahead!
Sincerely,
Geoff
