The sun had just set. It was around 7pm on a warm summer evening, and I was at Granville Island with my friends. The lights were reflecting beautifully in the ripples on the False Creek water.

I practice / play around / improvise on my amazing Korg MS2000B Synthesizer.
This is the third time I have made a video like this (the others can be found in the following playlist):
I really like the Korg Ms2000 B synthesizer. It’s a really fun little synth with a lot of capabilities. I especially like how all the controls are accessible via many knobs on the control surface. This really makes it easier to create an original live sound and make adjustments when playing live or improvising in a band.
* Looking to jam in Vancouver! *
I am based in Vancouver BC Canada and I am looking for people in Vancouver to jam / play with together, where I could try playing my synth with other musicians. I think it would be really interesting to mix synth with acoustic instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, acoustic piano, violin, or pretty much anything! So if you know of someone or would like to jam yourself, please send me an email at geoff@gpeters.com I am interested in all/most styles and have played in a diverse range of groups, from an orchestra, to a jazz trio, a folk band, and a gospel band.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
Geoff
btw… my Vancouver jazz trio website is at gpeters.com where you can download some free full-length good quality MP3 recordings of me and my friends playing jazz.
