Speaker shown in this video:
Adam Chandler is co-owner and pastry chef at BETA5. With 10 years of experience in both savory and sweet kitchens, Adam discovered an affinity for manipulating flour, sugar, butter, cream and chocolate. Through these experiences, an appreciation for ingredients and the practical science of cooking have influenced his work. In early 2011, together with partner Jessica Rosinski, Adam opened BETA5 as a place to explore the limits and potential of chocolate and pastry.

Sublime by Hank Jones – Neil Peters sax and Geoff Peters jazz piano

My dad and I perform the lovely (and rare) jazz waltz tune “Sublime” composed by the late great pianist and composer Hank Jones.

Performed by:

Neil Peters
alto saxophone

Geoff Peters
piano

Recorded in Delta BC Canada, September 16th 2012.

I feel so fortunate to share this amazing music with my Dad and family, as well as everyone who stumbles upon my channel here on Youtube. Thank you to everyone for your support and for supporting live music in your community!

The piano in this video is a beautiful Steinway Grand that my late grandfather purchased in the 1960’s. If you like the sound of this instrument, I used this piano for my album called “Quiet Night” by the Geoff Peters Trio which is available on iTunes or CdBaby. I feel so lucky to be able to play such an amazing instrument.

My Dad obtained the lead sheet for this rare Hank Jones composition at the Centrum jazz workshop in Port Townsend Washington this year (2012), from one of his teachers who was a personal friend of Hank Jones.

For more information about Centrum and the great summer jazz camp and workshops that they provide, please visit their website at: centrum.org/

Another recommended camp is organized by multiple-Juno award winning musician and composer Phil Dwyer in Qualicum Beach BC Canada. His website is www.phildwyer.com/ My dad and I attended Phil Dwyer’s jazz camp this summer and it was an excellent experience for us!

Thanks a lot for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Piano tuned (quite a while ago) by master Steinway technician Yonatan Torn.
tornpiano.com/ Yonatan also sells and imports pianos to Canada and I purchased my acoustic Petrof from him in Vancouver.
