How to Make the “reality tv” sound on your Roland Gaia synthesizer – marimba xylophone sound design

Geoff from geoffmobile.com shows how to make the stereotypical “Reality TV” sound using his Roland GAIA SH-01 synthesizer.

This kind of sound is also known as “Marimba” or “Xylophone”. I modelled it using two sine waves and an optional triangle wave.

To load the gaia patch file onto your gaia, you will need to connect the Gaia to your computer using USB cable, and then use the Gaia Tool by Grauw, which is freely available here:
