Recorded Feb. 24th 2012, Vancouver BC Canada.

In this song, Antitoxin, Laundryman returns to their “Yoga friendly music” roots, with a tune that is a deeply layered chill-out. Recently returned from Bali, where he jammed on an authentic marimba, Jason Knight sets a rhythmic safari and foundation while jazz pianist-turned electro wiz Geoff Peters adds the scintillating cheetah synth lines leaping above.

Technical notes:

Audio recorded live from room with a Zoom H1. We both performed through a single Roland KC amplifier. Audio was “mastered” using Audacity on a Macbook, using Behringer B2031A Studio Monitors.

Mastering tools used in Audacity:
-Hard limiter
-SC4 compressor
-Amplify gain
-Fade and chop (split tool).

The video was recorded on a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX7V and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a Windows 7 Dell PC (Intel i7, USB 3.0 for a faster workflow). The unique colors in this video were added using the Fast Color Corrector and the 3 Way Color Corrector.

Thanks for watching and we’ll see you next time.
