War and Outsourcing to Asia – blog from Geoffmobile Jan 2012

Geoff from geoffmobile.com discusses two topics:

1) Apple, one of the world’s richest companies, currently manufactures their iPhones and other iProducts in their many factories in China. Is it right that these jobs are being created in Asia rather than here in North America? What about the shrinking middle class – let’s consider how this will affect our future.
New York times article I mentioned can be accessed here:

2) In modern warfare, with the latest technologies it is possible to create “drones”, basically remote-controlled killing machines that are remote controlled by soldiers from a long distance. Is this kind of war more or less ethical than older ways of direct combat? How can we justify using these horrific machines if we would never want to be on the receiving end of them?

Thanks for watching. Please rate, comment, and subscribe!

See you next time,
Geoff
