Description of the music:
Urban, upbeat, energetic and slightly ominous. A hiphop beat underlies a distorted synth guitar patch with minor 7 jazz chords, and then in the second part, a new hiphop beat is used with piano jazz sus chords to accompany an ostinato synth with a bold string section.

Possibly suitable for background music for a darker video about an important social issue or a scandal.

Created using Roland Gaia SH-01 synthesizer, Yamaha P-35 digital piano, Sonar X1 LE. Mastered in audacity.

Geoff has been singing for less than 2 years so far (and so can still be considered a beginner singer). Statement from Geoff: “I absolutely loving singing, and I am so glad to have discovered this amazing instrument, the voice. I hope to be able to perform more in the future as I develop my singing abilities.”

Thanks to my vocal teacher, Mark Downey Vocal Studio markdowneyvocalstudio.com in Vancouver BC Canada.

Cheers,

Geoff from geoffmobile.com talks about how you can always fit more sand in a jar that’s full of rocks, which is kind of like in life how you can always do more activities in between your main obligations.

Two ways of working – a quick productivity tip from geoffmobile

Here’s Geoff from geoffmobile.com with a short productivity tip.

Please subscribe :) youtube.com/geoffmobile

Productivity tip: Two ways of working are:

1) Doing work right as it comes in (such as responding immediately to urgent requests or emails)

2) Working on tasks that you have already planned at some previous time, and putting incoming requests into your todo list so they can be handled at the appropriate time.

Either way of working is fine, but to be more effective in accomplishing your goals, I recommend trying to do more of 2). However if someone comes to my desk in person to ask a question that will take more than a few minutes, I usually ask them if they need the help right away or if it could wait until a later date.
