Water leaks down into fridge and ice clogs the air vents<\/p>\n<p>But there is Good News: It can be fixed.<\/p>\n<p>Good news: Found a video on Youtube which explains the solution. Thanks to CTSCAPER for his video on Whirlpool Leaking Refrigerator Repair:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ASR3sAYUOKM\" class=\"autohyperlink\">www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ASR3sAYUOKM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DISCLAIMER &#8211; IMPORTANT &#8211; PLEASE READ: You follow these steps at your own risk. There is no express or implied warranty in this video instructional steps. I shall not be responsible for any damage you cause to your fridge. If you are unsure, call your local fridge service company before attempting any repairs.<\/p>\n<p>Process \/ Solution to leaking problem:<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT &#8211; TO AVOID RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK:<br \/>\n-Disconnect fridge from electrical power or turn off circuit breaker.<\/p>\n<p>-Defrost ice with Hair Dryer<\/p>\n<p>-Pour boiling water down drain hole to unclog it<\/p>\n<p>-Install copper wire from heating element down the drain hole so it does not clog.<\/p>\n<p>Summary<\/p>\n<p>The bad news is that my expensive fridge, and thousands like it, have this defect \/ problem.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that I am now able to fix this problem. If your fridge has the same problem, let me know and I can fix it!
