Is <strong>Red<\/strong> the ambitious manager driving deadlines? Is <strong>Orange<\/strong> the energetic team comedian keeping morale high? Is <strong>Brown<\/strong> the steady, dependable quiet worker holding down the fort? And is <strong>Yellow<\/strong> the unpredictable troublemaker shaking up the routine?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a fun thought experiment. But if you were to ask me to assign those roles, I\u2019d have to start with a confession: <strong>I\u2019m colorblind.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seeing the Spectrum Through a Different Lens<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When people talk about vibrant autumn palettes, my visual reality looks a little different. I struggle to distinguish green from gray or brown. Red and blue come through, but yellow slips away entirely. When I edit videos for work, trying to color-correct footage without a second opinion is an absolute gamble.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever someone points out a subtle shade or a rich blend of fall colors, I find myself thinking: <em>I wish I knew what that looked like from your perspective.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At first glance, colorblindness might sound like a handicap in a world obsessed with visual nuances. But in the context of building a team, it offers a powerful metaphor. Ask yourself: <em>Who is seeing this problem through a completely different lens? And are we actively listening to them?<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we remain open to listening and eager to understand how others experience the world, diversity ceases to be a buzzword.
