Piano Technique Practice on Roland Gaia Synth – Piano Scales, Chords, Arpeggios

I found that doing technique practice on the Roland Gaia helped me play better on this particular keyboard. Here is a video of my 30 minute practice session. In this video, I warm up by playing a bit of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature”, and then I move into doing a series of piano-inspired technique exercises including different major scales, chromatic scales, scales in thirds and sixths, and broken chords. I find the challenge when trying to move these exercises from the full piano keyboard to the 3 octaves of the gaia, is to still give my hands a workout while only playing within the available 3 octaves.
